NetCare - Managed Network Services Details

Network operational costs are continuing to increase each year. Hiring, training and managing network engineers, building and maintaining network management tools, and company growth add to these costs. Bring these costs under control and free up valuable time for your IT team by eliminating network operation tasks with NetCare from NetCuras.  We work side by side with you and your team to support your network infrastructure.

How it works:

A VPN or private line will be established between the customer premise and NetCuras' NOC. All identified devices will be modified for access by NetCuras engineers. NetCuras will populate its tools with the appropriate information such as IP address, SNMP community strings, access passwords, etc.

Within 30 days, NetCuras will begin monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. The monitoring will include:

  • Device Availability Monitoring and Alerting
  • Device Health Monitoring and Alerting
  • Network Health Monitoring and Alerting
  • Network Performance Monitoring and Alerting
  • Service Availability Monitoring and Alerting
  • Trend Reporting

Once the monitoring tasks are completed and the devices are incorporated into our tools, NetCuras can then manage and monitor the devices. Full management includes:

  • Move, Adds, Changes
  • Configuration Management (weekly backup of configuration files)
  • OS and Patch Management
  • Incident Response to Monitoring Generated Alerts

Customers have the flexibility to request moves, adds, or changes by utilizing our ticketing system. This provides a way of documenting and tracking all changes to the network devices. An important piece to many compliance initiatives, such as HIPPA, SOX, or PCI. The tickets can be generated via Email (preferred method) or phone call. Tickets can include:

  • Moves
  • Adds
  • Changes
  • Response to Alerts
  • Report Requests
  • General Questions
